Join me for a live 60-minute virtual workshop where I'll share the strategies I use to set up IEP meetings for success for my 1:1 advocacy clients including...

✨ Getting everyone you need at the table to discuss your concerns

✨ Making sure that you have enough time to discuss all your concerns

✨ Getting copies of evaluation reports and draft documents to review in advance of your meeting

✨ Setting up the meeting to ensure your concerns are addressed and your input is considered

Hi! I'm Dr. Brandi Tanner. I am a psychologist, special education expert, and speaker.

I have been to so many IEP meetings that I can't even count them. I've served in just about every role, including general education teacher, special education teacher, school psychologist, private psychologist, advocate, and family member.

I use my two decades of experience in the field of education to get parents, private clinicians, and school staff focused on doing what is right for students.

A few of the topics we'll cover:

✨ My go-to process to set IEP meetings up for success for my 1:1 advocacy clients

✨ How to make sure you are meaningfully participating in the meeting, not just checking off the box that you're present

✨ The email script I use to make sure we have enough time alloted for the meeting

✨ BONUS: My checklist of meeting preparation activities

[Rutabaga] has been doing so well with school and we couldn't be happier with the support we got from you to get his IEP set up correctly right at the start of the year. It made such a difference. I'm confident that [Sunnyside Elementary] came to the meeting with a co-teacher lined up because of the emails we sent them prior to the IEP meeting where we laid out [Rutababa’s] needs and our requests. The co-teacher that is in his classroom has been great and is really good at adjusting based on what the kids' need.
