Confidently navigate your IEP journey WITHOUT getting lost in a confusing process and endless red tape
Get the hands-on support and easy-to-use resources you need to simplify the IEP process, stand up for your child’s needs, and work with the school to help your child succeed.
(it's just $39/month!)
"I just want the best for my child."
As your child’s biggest advocate, it goes without saying that you want to see them happy, well-adjusted, and successful. But for too many families, it’s not quite that simple.
Sound familiar?
❌ Your child is struggling, and it feels like the school isn’t doing anything about it.
❌ All your extra money is going to tutoring or therapies for your child.
❌ You are not satisfied with your child’s special services or classroom accommodations.
❌ You feel misunderstood, gaslit, or even sidelined in meetings with the school.
❌ You’re lost in a maze of IEP meetings, paperwork, and red tape.
If you wish you had someone you trusted to give you an accurate step-by-step guide to the IEP process that makes it easier to understand and navigate…
You are NOT alone.
Over 7 million students in the US qualify for special educational accommodations.
That means that 15% of all public school families are in the same boat as you, navigating a process feels as challenging as it is frustrating.
Even though getting your child the help they need should be straightforward, as you’ve experienced first-hand, all too often it’s complicated and overwhelming.
Even parents with supportive educational systems find the IEP process frustrating and difficult to navigate .
Your child's school probably falls somewhere
between these two categories:
Regardless of where your school lands on the spectrum of helpful to hindering, know this—
it's completely normal to ask questions like:
▶ What is an IEP? And does my child need one?
▶ How can I make sure my child is set up for success within the school system?
▶ What does the process look like, and what should I expect?
▶ How can I best support my child and work with the school?
▶ How do I know the school is designing the best program for my child’s unique needs?
▶ Is there anyone who can help me support my child without dismissing my concerns?
▶ How can I advocate for my child if no one will listen to me?
▶ Why does this have to be SO difficult?
The sad truth is that while most schools want every child to do well, getting the right accommodations and interventions for your child can feel like an uphill battle.
And when it comes to taking an active role in your child’s education and confidently standing up for them, it’s so hard to know where to start.
The good news is—
You CAN work with the school system to help your child succeed when you have support and resources designed to help you:
✅ Understand and navigate the IEP process so you know what to expect every step of the way.
✅ Proactively work with your child’s school.
✅ Revamp your child’s cookie-cutter IEP into a service plan targeted to meet their needs.
✅ Ensure your child gets the right evaluation, the right eligibility category, and the right classroom placement.
And I can show you how.
Hi, I’m Dr. Brandi!
And I’m on a mission to help parents just like you navigate the educational system and IEP process. Your child deserves to receive the support they need.
As a former school psychologist and educator, I have seen far too many parents feel gaslit, snowed, or bulldozed in school meetings where everyone should be unified by a single goal—helping children and their families get the support they need to succeed.
I know those emotions too well,
having been there myself.
You see, I’ve been on this path since I was a teenager, helping my family get appropriate special services for my brother with autism. For years, I watched my mom cry every time she came home from an IEP meeting—something no parent should have to do.
Because we pushed for the right program and services, my brother got into a high school job training program. And, more than 20 years later, he still holds the same job he got through it. If that's not an IEP win, I don't know what is.
And those experiences are a big part of the reason I became a special education teacher, went on to get my doctorate in psychology, and worked as a school psychologist for so many years—
To help families and children succeed.
But after sitting in HUNDREDS of IEP meetings with families needing varying levels of IEP support and seeing the stress and frustration on everyone’s faces,
I knew there had to be a better way.
I founded YOUR IEP SOURCE out of a desire to—
👉 Work more directly with parents and families.
👉 Offer resources to close the gap between families and schools.
👉 Give families the hands-on support they need to get the best results for their children.
Because of all those years working in the school system, I understand the clinical and procedural aspects of special education advocacy.
More than that, I have insider knowledge of how things work behind closed doors. And I can tell you what they’re probably saying… and what a likely outcome will be for your child.
I’ve been able to help more than 100 families to help their children get positive outcomes.
And now, I want to help YOU.
I have channeled my decades of experience into a membership designed to help YOU work with the school on your schedule.
It’s packed with resources, systems, and insider knowledge—and more importantly, access to someone who can give you accurate information and hands-on support for your IEP journey…
…so you can navigate the complexities of the IEP process and maintain a positive working relationship with school staff—who you’ll be working with for years to come.
It’s your turn now. You can be your child’s best advocate and do so effectively. And I’ll show you how.

All materials live inside our membership portal. When you sign up, you will be given login credentials to access everything. No need to go to Facebook or any other group!
The short answer is no. Here’s why. After spending decades in special education as a teacher and school psychologist, I have the lived experience and can tell you what they’re probably saying behind closed doors, based on your child’s unique situation. You won’t get that anywhere else, in part because most of the advocates out there are self-trained. And, most of the advice that people crowdsource on social media, while given with good intentions, isn’t tailored to your situation, and some of it might not be accurate at all.
However, inside Your IEP Source Membership, you’ll get hands-on support from me during office hours, plus access to my entire library of resources, including videos, checklists, and guides, based on the latest, most accurate information. Most importantly of all, I’ve spent the time compiling it so you don’t have to — and can spend more of your time focusing on your top priorities.
Office Hours are held each month via Zoom or a similar program. You can join the live call to get your questions answered or submit your questions in advance to be answered on the call. Calls will be recorded in case you can't watch live.
You’ll have opportunities to ask questions inside the membership portal and during our group office hours sessions. In addition to the a la carte 1:1 calls with Dr. Brandi available exclusively to members, members can ask about personalized advocacy services.
Yes! Special education eligibility is a major part of the IEP process. The lessons and materials in the membership contain information to help you through this part of the process, and you can ask questions about it during office hours.
Yes, this program contains information and strategies to help you to maximize the services and accommodations in your child's IEP or 504 plan.
Absolutely! While many people find that Your IEP Source Membership is more than enough to solve their problem, others want more help. Some people find that they want someone to give them a step-by-step plan to follow, while others need high-touch 1:1 support for difficult cases.
If that sounds like you, immediately after joining Your IEP Source Membership, you can also book an IEP Strategy Roadmap to give you that step-by-step plan, learn about my high-touch 1:1 advocacy packages, or schedule discounted 1:1 calls with me. And since you’re a member, I’ll be able to point you to specific resources to help you prepare for our conversations. Win-win.
100%. Think of Your IEP Source Membership like Netflix or HBO Max. Instead of binge-watching a season of Game of Thrones (or the full series), you’ll be getting the information you need to solve your problems right now. Then, you can pop in and out of the membership as it makes sense to you.
