Hi! I'm Dr. Brandi Tanner. I am a psychologist, special education expert, and speaker.

A comprehensive evaluation is the foundation of a student’s learning plan. I previously worked as a school psychologist and later as a private psychologist. I’ve conducted hundreds of psychoeducational evaluations.

Chances are, you’re not a psychologist. In this workshop, I will help you to learn how to secure a quality evaluation, school or private, how to understand the results, and how to use the results to advocate for student needs.

What if I can't make it to the live workshop?
- Life happens. I totally get it. If you can't make it to the live session, I'll have a recording available for you for 30 days. You can catch up on all the information at your own pace
Does it matter if my student has already had an evaluation? Will this workshop still be helpful?
- Yes, this workshop will include information about securing a comprehensive evaluation as well as using the results to advocate when the evaluation is completed.
What if my child doesn't have an IEP yet? What if they have a 504 plan and not an IEP?
- The majority of the strategies we discuss in this meeting are applicable for any school-based meeting for a child with identified or suspected disabilities. You will learn something from attending.
I am a private practice clinician. Will this workshop be helpful for me?
- This workshop is geared toward parents and advocates. I will be hosting other workshops in the future that are more specifically for clinicians. Sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know about them.
